Harry Styles has reportedly contacted a fan who was injured from the Manchester attack following Ariana Grande's concert.
In the words of her father, Freya Lewis was "sewn, bolted, drilled and bandaged back together" after the devastating arena explosion that took the lives of 22 people.
After being rushed to the intensive care unit, Freya's sister wrote a Facebook post naming the 14-year-old as the "biggest Harry Styles fan... in the world". She urged people to share her post to gain the attention of Harry Styles.
It was revealed that on Friday, Freya woke up from her heavy sedation "to look at her dad, blow him a kiss and smile."
"What could surpass that? I know you are thinking," the family jokingly added before revealing that "the phone rang, and it was Harry Styles."
The 23-year-old singer got in touch with Freya after discovering that she was a victim of the Manchester suicide bombing. The news was announced in a blog post on Freya's school website, Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School and Sixth Form College in Cheshire.
"Harry, we salute you sir, Holmes Chapel is very proud of you!!!!" they added.
In a blog post from Saturday, the family reveal that Freya's "memory kicked in about the events of Monday night and she started asking questions." Unfortunately, her friend who accompanied her to the concert, Nell Jones, sadly passed away from her injuries.
"Over the following 30 minutes she shared with me all of her very personal and harrowing recollections of the detonation of the bomb and the aftermath. We discussed the loss of her friend Nell, which she was unaware of up to this morning. Needless to say, these details and thoughts are Freya’s and it is for her to decide in the future what, if anything, she shares with others."
We wish Freya a speedy recovery, and applaud Harry for taking the time out of his day to chat with her.
