Let's face it: school is stressful. We tend to forget that our teachers are actually aware of this, and instead dismiss them when they try to help, but Chandni Langford has proved us all wrong and gone one step further.
The fifth-grade teacher decided to ease her students nerves by writing personalised notes with dry-erase markers for each pupil, along with a pair of donut holes.
Chandni puts a different growth mindset quote on the board each morning, but wanted to do something particularly special for her 19 students on the day of their big exam.
"We've been talking a lot about growth mindset the past few months, so I picked quotes that resonated with each student," she told TODAY. "This was really important to me because giving individual attention is always important.
Messages range from “Learning is your superpower!” to “There is no elevator to success, you must take the stairs!” which have proven to inspire the students.
The fifth grade teacher said she got the idea from another teacher on Pinterest and that the messages connect with the "growth mindset" learning strategy that she uses in her classroom.
We don't know about you but we wish we had a teacher like her!
